We are thrilled to again be a part of the Concordia Farmers’ Market You can continue to support Coop CultivAction by purchasing our healthy high quality products direct from our kiosk.
We will have hyper-local seasonal goodies available starting June 20th like salad mix, lettuce, herbs, radish, microgreens, scallions, kale, garlic, mushrooms (oysters, red wine caps, lions mane, and shiitake) grown steps away from the market at the Loyola Farm on the Concordia campus. As the growing season progresses more variety will be available. refer to list below to see what we are growing all season long.
We will also have seedlings, houseplants, grown-your-own microgreen kits and exciting new products for anyone interested in getting started with mushroom cultivation. Please inquire at the market.
Please don’t forget to BYOB – Bring your own Bag and tupperware containers for greens so we can do a zero-waste pick-up.
Our products are not certified organic but, we grow without the use of any chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides.

Here is a list of what we are growing and what we expect to be in season from month-to-month. (click arrows to expand) Do to differing production schedules and the nature of our small scale operation it is not possible for us to predict exactly what will be available from week to week.
Microgreens are small, tasty, fresh, crunchy, colourful and are an excellent source of minerals, vitamins and antioxidants and contain 40x more nutrients than their fully grown counterparts! Microgreenstaste great on their own and take salads, soups, sandwiches, wraps, pizzas and more to the next level when used as a garnish. Please feel free to contact us about bulk purchasing.

Fresh red wine cap mycelium inoculated wood chips
For outdoor mushroom bed propagation. Wood chips to spread along a shady patch of soil. Mulch heavily with garden straw, additional wood chips, garden scraps, cardboard, etc. and water heavily. keep moist until fruiting, typically fall/spring.
