Get Mushrooms grown at Concordia's Loyola Campus !

Funky Fungi is co-op member Nico Schutte’s mushroom grow operation based out of CultivAction’s Loyola farm space.

Co-op CultivAction has been sourcing the mushrooms offered at our farm stand at the Concordia Farmers’ Market market through Funky Fungi’s cultivation efforts; both in outdoor garden beds near our farm and indoors.

Presently we are consistently offering red wine cap mushrooms and are pleased to present the first of Funky Fungi’s indoor grow operation harvest of pink oyster mushrooms.

SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTION

Funky Fungi is unique from other commercial mushroom grow operations. The materials used in production are reusable such as large 5-gallon buckets and other second-use materials to help eliminate carbon/waste materials as well as give “recyclable” materials a “fruitful” second life. We do not utilize single-use plastic bags.
