We will meet at the farm at Loyola Campus.
The Loyola Farm is located at the back of Concordia University, Loyola Campus – TB building. 7079 Rue de Terrebonne, Montreal, Quebec H4B 1E1.
In this session, participants will learn how to care for annual food plants throughout the growing season. We’ll cover key skills such as pruning tomatoes, building trellises and other plant support systems, identifying when and how to harvest, applying organic fertilizers, and using succession planting techniques to maximize garden productivity.

2. Garden Tour Explore the site and observe how the garden has changed since your last visit. What’s growing well? What needs attention?
3. Discussion: Caring for Annual Plants Topics include:
Maintenance practices
Harvest timing and techniques
Succession planting
Supporting plant nutrition and health
4. Hands-On Garden Tasks We’ll get our hands dirty with some light maintenance and care tasks based on what the garden needs today.
5. Wrap-Up Time for final questions, comments, or concerns.
