Class 8 – August 19th

In our eighth session, we will focus on Post-Harvest Management and Preservation Techniques: Advanced Methods in Seed Saving, Food Preservation, and Sustainable Storage. Participants will deepen their understanding of how to extend the life of their harvest, save seeds for future planting, and store food effectively for future use.

2 – Discussion: Seed Saving – Key principles and best practices for collecting, processing, and storing seeds.
3 – Discussion: Post-Harvest & Food Preservation – Techniques for preserving food for future use and preventing spoilage.
4 – Garden Work – Participate in biweekly garden activities/tasks.
5 – Questions, Comments, Concerns – Open discussion and wrap-up.
