CultivAction offers engaging, hands-on workshops for community groups, schools, organizations, and events. Our workshops take place at our farms and gardens or can be delivered at your location. Sessions are interactive and practical, designed to help participants connect with food systems, ecological practices, and urban agriculture.
Workshops can include guided garden and tasting tours, urban foraging, garden design, herbalism, permaculture, soil health, seedling production, microgreen growing, sustainability-focused activities, and more. We can also support groups interested in starting or improving a garden at their own site.
Our educators are led by Dr. Erik Chevrier. Additional instructors are trained by our team and bring experience in urban agriculture, community education, and ecological growing practices. Many of our facilitators are Concordia students and experienced community growers.
Pricing
$600 for a 2-hour workshop at the CultivAction farm (up to 20 participants)
For larger groups (over 20 adults, 20 supervised children, or 12 children requiring primary supervision), two facilitators are required: $1000 for 2 hours
Travel workshops are available; fees may be adjusted based on distance.
We are happy to adapt workshops to the needs of your group and can offer flexible pricing for community organizations working with marginalized or vulnerable communities.
