Hi everyone, welcome to the first beginner urban agroecology course from CultivAction Solidarity Cooperative. Erik Chevrier, Ph.D. and Mohammed Al-Duais will be your instructors for the course.
For future reference, the Loyola Farm is located at the back of Concordia University, Loyola Campus – TB building. 7079 Rue de Terrebonne, Montreal, Quebec H4B 1E1.
In our first session, participants will be introduced to the garden space, establish expectations, and explore basic gardening practices. We will also plant seeds and pot up seedlings.

Welcome & Icebreaker

– Group discussion on roles, responsibilities, and community agreements for managing the garden

– Overview of cultivation, transplanting, plant support, and optimizing the garden site
