Hi everyone, welcome to the sixth urban agriculture certificate course from CultivAction Solidarity Cooperative. Erik Chevrier, Ph.D. and Mohammed Al-Duais will be your instructors for the course.
We will meet at the farm at Loyola Campus.
The Loyola Farm is located at the back of Concordia University, Loyola Campus – TB building. 7079 Rue de Terrebonne, Montreal, Quebec H4B 1E1.
Class 6: Midterm Check-In & Exploring Perennial and Annual Plant Systems
This session marks the halfway point of our course and offers a chance to reflect together on how things are going. We’ll begin with a group check-in and discussion about the course so far, followed by two rotating activities: a group presentation on perennial and annual plants, and a hands-on garden session with Mohammed.
We’ll use this time to deepen our understanding of plant ecologies, share feedback, and connect theory to practice through guided observation and seasonal garden work.
